Trips to Other Remote & Exotic Russian Regions
Occasionally I get requests to organise expeditions different from the standard itineraries to visit Nenets nomads offered on this site. Sometimes this means just something a little unusual on Yamal or in the Polar Urals, but sometimes it’s to an entirely new place. One such trip was to Arctic Yakutia in northeastern Russia, the coldest inhabited place on Earth. Another was by boat from Krasnoyarsk up the Yenisey River to the Arctic.
If you would like to visit reindeer herders anywhere else in Russia, traditional sea mammal hunters in Chukotka, mammoth graveyards in Yakutia, ancient log architecture in Arctic European Russia, or any of the other extraordinary but offbeat attractions the further-flung corners of Russia have to offer, please get in touch through this website’s Contact page. I can organise them all.
In particular, please visit our sister website Travel Yakutia if you would like to organise trips to reindeer herders, horse herders, mammoth graveyards, gulags and much more in the far north east of Siberia.
